Custom Dashboards in Hivel are designed to provide a personalized view of your data, enabling you to analyze, monitor, and make informed decisions based on the metrics that matter most to you. These dashboards are fully customizable, allowing you to tailor the layout, choose which data to display, and apply various filters to drill down into specific details.
Key Features of Custom Dashboard
Persistent Filters: Save and manage custom filter settings to quickly access preferred data views.
Download Image: Easily download graphs or charts from the dashboard for offline analysis and reporting.
TV View Mode: Optimize the dashboard display for large screens, ideal for team presentations or meetings.
To set up your Custom Dashboard:
Sign in to your Hivel account.
Navigate to Dashboards, Click the '+' icon near your boards, and create your customized board by giving the board name and board description. Select your favorite graph type and click on 'Apply Changes.'
You can tailor the dashboard to your liking and select a single team, multiple teams, one repository, or a group of repositories.
Choose a specific date range to focus on the period that is most relevant to your analysis.
Click on the 'Save Filter' button, give the filter name, and save it for future reference.
Upon saving, the filter's unique URL is automatically updated in the browser’s address bar.
Remember to copy the URL from the address bar for future use or to share it with your team.
TV Mode: You can select the TV icon at the top right corner to switch the dashboard display to TV mode, optimizing it for larger screens.
Download Report: Next to the TV view icons, find the ‘Download ’icons. Click on this to download an image of the currently displayed graph or chart for offline reference.
