How to re-initiate GitHub integration with Hivel
Hivel currently only supports GitHub accounts that are associated with an organization. Often, this step is missed when setting up a GitHub account, and you may have run into an error when creating an account on Hivel. When you encounter this error during the initial process, we recommend you follow the below steps to create an organization and link your current users to the organization.
To re-initiate GitHub integration with Hivel, follow these steps:
Log in to your GitHub account.
Revoke the Hivel app access from your GitHub account by going to Settings > Account Settings > Applications > Authorized OAuth Apps > Hivel. Then click "Revoke".
Before you initiate the integration process, please set up the organization in your GitHub account. (If done earlier, skip to the next step) Go to Settings > Organizations > New Organization > Create a Free Organization. Then, fill in your organization's details.
Return to your Hivel account. Go to Settings > Integrations. You will see a "Reauthorize" button on the GitHub card. (If you're not able to see it, please reach out to support@hivel.ai)
Authorize your organization's access by clicking on "Grant" against your organization.
